We offer a free in-person survey to make sure that we have all the right information about your property. Our surveyor will also check whether any upgrades are needed.

Installation can be as quick as 5 working days but the average installation time amongst our customers is 39 working days. That’s the time from when you book your free, in-person survey to having the charger on your wall.
Before we can provide you with a finalised price, we need certain information about your car, home and current electrical set-up. So our price includes a free, no-obligation pre-installation survey, where a trained surveyor will visit your property to find out more about your charging needs. This will be done at a time to suit you and usually within five days.
We’ll let you know if any upgrades are needed before we start your installation, so there are no surprises.
If you are amongst the 70% of our customers who qualify for a standard installation, the next step is for us to get the required approvals from the company that looks after the electricity infrastructure in your area (these are called Distribution Network Operators - DNOs). From then, we aim to give you an installation time that’s within 14 - 21 days.
Indra does not sell its EV chargers directly, instead we partner with a select group of nationwide providers who we trust to sell and install our quality chargers. All of these only use Indra-approved installers to fit our chargers so you can be sure of a safe, high-quality installation.
Your free, in-person pre-installation survey will be done by a trained surveyor. They know what information to collect about your electrical set-up but they are not a qualified electrician so won't be able to advise on cable routes nor answer questions regarding your electrical infrastructure.

We are one of very few manufacturers who offer a free, in-person pre-installation survey (most EV charger companies make you rummage around your property taking photos of fuse boxes and meters). Installation of your EV charger takes around three to four hours. Our fully qualified electrical engineers will keep you informed and make sure you’re all set up on the Indra app. They’ll also run through a demo, so you know exactly how it works. They won’t leave until you’re comfortable with everything, and you know how to get the most out of your charger.
No, we are sure that you have better things to do than spend time rummaging around under your stairs taking photos of your electrical set up.
We do things differently. Our package includes a free, in-person survey. A trained surveyor will visit your property to find out more about your charging needs and make sure that we have everything we need to know about your electrical setup.
You will be asked for payment shortly before your installation date. We will send you a link to a secure online portal via which you can submit payment via debit or credit card.
Around 70% of our customers qualify a standard installation and this is included in the prices you see on our website.
However, there are a number of factors that can increase the cost of your chargepoint installation.
