One of our experts will come to your home to fit and test your charger and show you how it works.
Installation can be as quick as 5 working days but the average installation time amongst our customers is 39 working days. That’s the time from when you complete your remote home survey to having the charger on your wall.
Before we can provide you with a finalised price, we need certain information about your car, home and current electrical set-up. To gather this information, shortly after you submit your enquiry we will send you a text message with a link to an interactive survey to allow us to provide an accurate quote without having to visit your property. This is best done on a mobile phone as we ask you to take a few pictures of your home.
Once we get your survey, we will let you know if any upgrades are needed before we progress your installation, so there are no surprises.
If you are amongst the 70% of our customers who qualify for a standard installation, the next step is for us to get the required approvals from the company that looks after the electricity infrastructure in your area (these are called Distribution Network Operators - DNOs). From then, we aim to give you an installation time that’s within 14 - 21 days.
Yes, if you qualify for a standard installation (and almost 70% of our customers do) the price you see on our website is the price you will pay for the charger and having it installed.
In your installation is a bit more tricky we will let you know of any additional charges. You can, of course, choose to cancel your order if you don't want to proceed any longer.
We partner with a select group of fully trained, vetted, and accredited expert installers who we trust to install our quality chargers. They’ll take care of everything from start to finish – and help you get set up too.
We take the stress out of getting an EV charger by being with you every step of the way until your EV charger is installed.
Once you’ve enquired about the charger, to ensure that you are not hit by any unexpected extra costs, we ask you to do a short online home survey. This is sent to your mobile via text. Once completed you will be contacted by an installer to confirm whether or not yours qualifies as a standard installation and to provide you with your no- obligation quote.

Installation of your EV charger takes around three to four hours. Our fully qualified electrical engineers will keep you informed and make sure you’re all set up on the Indra app. They’ll also run through a demo, so you know exactly how it works. They won’t leave until you’re comfortable with everything, and you know how to get the most out of your charger
You will be asked for payment shortly before your installation date. We will send you a link to a secure online portal via which you can submit payment via debit or credit card.
At the moment we don’t have a finance option.
Around 70% of our customers qualify a standard installation and this is included in the prices you see on our website.
However, there are a number of factors that can increase the cost of your chargepoint installation.
If there are any additional costs, we will send you an email after the home survey setting these out. You can then decide whether or not you want to proceed with your installation.
